I saw your query at the Biography Channel and signed into the boards to answer it. At the risk of repeating myself, this is the information you're looking for. ___ "Threat of Death" was the title on the script -- but the episode is called "Before I Die." Your daughter plays the young Beulah Page in a flashback sequence. "Violet," now, is the assumed name of a woman who is hired to impersonate Beulah Page, who is the daughter of... Well, you should see the episode, it's really good. You've got a bit of a wait before "Before I Die" airs on the Biography Channel again (they've just started re-airing Season One), but the episode is on the Season Two DVD set. The best price is at Deep Discount DVD, $50.97 with free shipping: http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=ANE070889 It seems so clear that everyone had the time of their lives working on "Nero Wolfe" -- I hope the experience was fun for you and your daughter. Before I Die. Aired on Saturday, August 7, 2004 A notorious gangster who wants to keep his daughter's identity a secret hires a "fake" daughter to stand-in for her. But when the "fake" turns around and tries to blackmail the gangster, Wolfe and Archie get tangled up in a plot that threatens their lives. Timothy Hutton and Maury Chaykin star. TVPG

Check my latest update to the cast list. The title "Threat of Death" does turn up on an obscure webpage: NERO WOLFE: IN BAD TASTE / TOO MANY CLIENTS / A THREAT OF DEATH / THE SILENT SPEAKER (A & E) Company: NW Production Services Inc / Jaffe Braunstein Films Ltd / Pebblehut Productions Producer(s): Michael Jaffe (Exec), Howard Braunstein (Exec), Timothy Hutton (Exec), Randi Richmond, Jennifer Phillips (Assoc), Sharon Doyle Director: John Lecuyer Principal Cast: Timothy Hutton, Maury Chaykin Month(s): January (02) to April (02) US I will make the rash assumption that: "In Bad Taste" is Poison ala Carte, which was followed by "Too Many Clients." The next two shows were "Before I Die," and Help Wanted, Male," followed by "Silent Speaker." That would mean that the show you are looking for, "Threat of Death," is either "Before I Die", or "Help Wanted, Male." They were both directed by John Lecuyer, so that makes sense. I just made a quick scan of the final scenes in both episodes and saw nothing as you described. It may well be that in "Threat of Death" that scene exists, but in the American version it was excised. However, you now have more information than you originally had and I wish you well >>>"Music: The waves of time gently lapping upon the shores of eternity, simultaneously eroding and redepositing the continuum in a never-ending symphony of stardust" - hamish

I've been trying to obtain an episode in which my 2 year old daughter appeared in. At the end of the episode a girl is reminiscing about her childhood and she is recalls riding a tricycle down a hall way. The young girl is a "red head". She played a young Viola. I know the episode has been released because my cousin had seen it, but could not obtain the name. The episode was to have been called "Threat of Death". However, I have been unable to locate it. Can you help ??

Cast of Characters from the Show

This is a copy of poster Dinky Byne's list, from the Pfight site files. There's also Dinky's running list on the main A&E board here. Note on this weeks SEASON finale (I refuse to call it "series" f-word): There were 17 actors credited in the closing credits of ItM, 10 of whom had opening credits billing, so I didn't need to rely on A&E's least reliable typeface. Of the remaining 7, I was able to recognize Carlo Rota, Steve Cumyn, and Matthew Edison the very first time I saw the episode. Of the other four, all I could make out from the credits was some guy with a short two names as "Doctor", rep player "Bruce McFee" as "Reporter" (which made sense), what looked like "Beatrice Epps" (the name, not of an actress, but of a minor character in Motherhunt!) as "Dancer", and "Eric" either "Craig" or "Crane" in the all-important role of "Man # 1". I don't THINK the actors playing doctor and dancer had ever been on the show before, but I can't be too sure. As for "Man # 1", I've got two possibilities as to who he might be: 1)the assistant cook who cried out when Nero bellowed at him in the kitchen, or 2) Fritz's stand-in in the final scene. If I got the actor's name right, Man # 1 had never been on the show before. If I've made a mistake in any of this, I hope you'll be able to correct it. First off: the episode themselves. First, there was the pilot: The Golden Spider TGS I. The First Season 1. The Doorbell Rang TDR 2. Champagne for One CfO 3. Prisoner's Base PB 4. Eeney, Meeney, Murder, Moe EMMM 5.
