hi, I have a 14 year old with autism and boy the nutty nellies from cas just love spending their quality time harrassing me. Whether it be that my beloved toad has been rolling around in the snow getting his ski suit dirty or running around getting fresh air outside they come a trooping to my door. In my neighbourhood it is almost a ritual for them to pretty much go trooping along like a bible salesman, because it is a low income neighbourhood. I agree that this situation is completely out of control, most of the issue for them seems to be the almighty dollar, and control, point blank it is an extreme abuse of power. They love us single moms, but it is the only court in the world that you never get to face your accuser or be innocent til proven guilty. I am a single working mother of four, three of whom are still in school and am also reeducating myself in order to provide better for us, do I really have to grin and bear the crap from this bunch of nutters. The saying up here in Thunder Bay is that you have to be strange to be a social worker, hell two of the workers here are exhookers that had coke habits-I'll be darned if they should have the right to tell me that I can't raise my kidlings prperly.

It lifted my hopes in getting my son back from the CAS when I read your notes. You are the first one I have read that is will to help the helpless (our children) as a parent I dont know who or where to go, but you seem to know. Im sure there are lots of mothers and fathers out there who applaude you. Thank you..lonleymum

It is truly upsetting to learn that this organization seems to have more power than our own Federal Government!
My son was apprehended back on Feb. 16, 2006 due to an "imminent danger" clause provided to these people to be judge, jury and prosecutor of families.
Our nigtmare started last year, when my marriage was in the repair shop and the worker assigned carriage of our file gave me an altimadum and forced me into a women's shelter. While I held my own private apt. and still co-owned our home, these places of residence did not suffice this worker's appetite for destruction. When I refused to succumb to her orders, I was faced with an apprehension of my son. She claimed that she believed my partner would become violent and needed to place us in a safe place.
After sitting in this shelter for nearly 3 mos., and not recieving any feedback from this worker or her manager, I chose to relocate to bc to be with family. After clearing my head and hashing out the finer details to re-engaging in my marriage, I decided to fly home to Ontario. Only to be met by a pack of hungry wolves at our door.
Since my son's apprehension, I have been wrongfully accused of being a drug addict, and have belittled myself to pee tests 3x a week to prove my innocence. My ethnic background has been attacked in the affidavits, claiming that my skin looks yellow. I am of aboriginal descent. My son has become suicidal and I waited in horror while he underwent a psyciatric assessment, only to be released back into CAS's care.
Although I am of native descent, this blessing has only proven more obstacles that I must hurdle as self governing first nations are faced with the same dilemnas we are: a voice to stop this madness. Jurisdictional and catchment areas are currently obstructing my path to transferring my file to a native family agency.
If anyone knows of any other avenues that I can ensue, I would appreciate it greatly if you drop me a line at:

I forgot to ask the question...does anyone know how many people who work for CAS have there kids taken away or are in custody, and if there are how well are there kids taken care of, and i bet IF they do they get to see them all the time no questions asked......but I dont think there is one person working for CAS that has there kids in there because they know about all the crap and coruption that does go on. what are your views on this matter?

Like most parents out there, I lost my son to CAS. They told me that signing him over would be the best for him, and that he would get ALL the programs, and the best councelling, but if I didnt do this he would get nothing. So here I am 4 years later still trying to get him back. I will regret till the end of my day's calling the CAS.
Now most people on here are telling everyone to fight and take a stand, but your not telling people where to go or what to do. If anyone has anything I mean anything that I can do, say, protest against Im there....and why is it that we as Canadians don't have the freedom of speech, regarding the news papers and the CAS...We'll Im willing to got to jail for a bit for my kids and other kids in this and other provinces, god knows my son has been in one for four years, screw the CAS Im going to the papers if they will write the stories, anybody willing to help me lauch the biggest god damn investigation in the history of Canada, email me at scotishgirl68@hotmail.com...A&E aint going help....Lets stop this child abuse by the CAS and sue them for chil abuse..the more people willing to get involved in this the better chance we have of getting our kids back...I have a big mouth and will talk and yell till we get this corupt organization under some kind of control....I think we as Canadians are so scared of consequences, we forget how to fight and fight hard for what is ours, and the children are ours NOT CAS's.. If we are cowards and dont do anything about this in numbers, we have to do it in numbers, we will never win our rights to see our kids..lets take a stand and FIGHT these bastards all the way...Im willing to go to jail for my son's rights what about YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have many cases contact us who have had their children taken away from them because they will not agree to put thier child on psychiatric drugs such as Ritalin, Prozac, etc.

4. I would like to state for the record that your attempt to use the argument of my previous correspondence with the Council and the substance and the tone of my comments in my last letter as an evidence of abuse of process quote, "In light of your previous and voluminous correspondence to the Council, and the fact that the mandate of the Council in matters of judicial conduct has been explained to you, and in light of the substance and tone of the comments you make in your letter of 9 December, I have come to the conclusion that your letter constitutes an obvious abuse of the complaints process." in view of your previous well documented manipulation of complaint process by backdating your letter of allegedly June 21, 2004 (see my letter of July 5, 2004) strips you of the legal and moral authority to pass judgment on my perceived misbehaviour.
Quite to the contrary your stonewalling and finally dismissing of my complaint against Justice Fragomeni without proper justification of your inaction in face
of blatant example of judicial misconduct was a very good justification for the tone and the substance of my comments in my letter of December 9, 2005.
5. I would like to point out to you Sir, that one of your duties as Executive Director of the Canadian Judicial Council is to preserve the decorum while acting essentially as a representative of Judicial Branch
of Canadian Government. I hate to remind you Sir that preserving decorum starts with looking in the mirror of reality at your own behaviour.
Standards of behaviour expected of a private citizen struggling to protect his own children from abuse are quite different and much lower than standards of behaviour expected of well paid Executive of the Canadian Government responsible for enforcing standards of behaviour among federally appointed judges.
6. I would like to take this opportunity to point out to you Sir that issue of "judicial impunity" in Canada is a matter of public record and a matter of public debate. This issue arose as a result of you failing to execute the mandate of Canadian Judicial Council and discharge your duties as an Executive Director of CJC. I would like to remind you Sir that your failure results on hundreds if not thousands of human lives being lost in Canada
every year. I would like to point out to you that you should be held responsible for that loss and should be declared mass murderer by proxy. You might wish to
examine validity of my claims by looking at some valid complaints filed over the years that CJC have dismissed against judges who later on made rulings releasing
dangerous offenders who got out of jail and killed again, or made rulings in Family Courts that resulted in suicides or killing. As a test you might wish to check on a late Jeffrey Baldwin

hi,
i am also a victim of the corruption of the dcas. i have relocated as a last effort to change my worker who has caused and is still causing, such destruction in my family`s life. i have spent an obscene amount of money trying to protect my children from the organization that is supposed to have been created for their protection. in my case, my worker has made it her personal fight against me. i am in the process of finding a new lawyer to represent my case in my new juristiction. i have to go through legal aid and being new to the hastings area need advice on who i should choose. if anyone out there has any advice please let me know. - another victim

I have been a parent for over eight years and that is what I know best. Overnight my life was put on hold and devastated. I know I am a good parent, I have good morals and I love those children with all my heart. I believe the society is not helping me to get my children home they are only making the situation more difficult. As today is January 16, 2006 and where are my children today. NOT WITH MOM. My children have been in care since august 7, 2005. They even agreed last week to send my kids home in settlement conference. But guess what this week it an issue of emotional tramua because I have seperated from my childrens father. They cant get you on the first allegation they prolong it until they get the result they want. So where do we as parents stand? They will put you through a washer and hang you out to dry. Did they ever consider these children are emotionally distraught because of the situations they have put them through and the things that families would normally work with their children through is void due to their control.OH but wait thats admitting neglgence on their part and opps they could never make a mistake. I have seen drug dealers, drug users, and violent parents get their kids returned. My daughter is sensitve to this situation and quesioned with out a lawyer and has her words twisted and I am held accountable for it. What is the result. there isn't not enough regulations and we have to control over the care our children receive.
I have struggled to get where I was in life before the society tore it apart and now I struggle just to get through everyday!
I wish we could fix the corrupt syatem i miss my angels!!!
Is there any thing wer can do. I am ready willing and able I will fight this for the rest of my life to help these children. Not just mine but all children.

I am writing to you because I feel my rights as a parent have been violated (stripped with unknown reason)but worse, my daughter was put under scrutiny and an extremely stressful situation without my presence and/or support or knowledge of her whereabouts. She was interviewed for more than 6 hours in total. Five of which was with police. I consider this an

Please see Jul 26 2004 posting regarding the CAS in Canada. We can help if you are in Ontario I can come to you if you are in another province we still can help. We need to expose this corruption but keep those who wish to be protected from the CAS be protected.
