So far I've just tried to carry on something that was started on CatckBtk.com. Not much interest yet, but I was trying to suggest a possible connection to Lewiston Idaho the following year. I hadn't been there since that Craig guy started posting. Still trying to figure him out. I did notice that "Sidetrack" had confessed to doing it, but he was out of circulation at the time. So how in hell did he know enough about it to give it up? Just clearing paper for some friends from the rails? I might post sometime soon, but I want to get a better picture of what's been said so far.

as for the people coming back saying horrific. To say the least it is, and what makes it worse is that the ones who did this are gettin away with it. now the way i see it that is HORRIFIC!!!!

There is a discussion board for this crime, are you on that? I have been trying to get some other people on other crime discussion boards interested, but it's not easy. Everyone who has been directed to the info comes back saying how horrific the description is. Perhaps it will increase the public's interest, perhaps not.

I was referred here by a friend, i was 17 at the time of the murders and had grown up there. the two boys murdered were my friends. If any has any info or can help solve this please help.

Some of Keddie?s history ,I was just talking to a man who used to work for the sheriffs department before the Keddie cabin in 1981
He said in the early 1970s a man was thrown from the Keddie Bridge to his death. He said he it was by two men, who where caught. He said it was two hobos who did the crime to some other hobo
( it was rumored a transient killer was at keddie )
He also said in the late 1970s?. two people who rode the train and got off at Keddie station. Some time during the night someone kicked them out of the station and they froze in the cold winter to their death ...... just out side of the station
( So in away a railroader did kill people at keddie ,in away some rumors are true, it seems )
He said he moved away before 1980 but , he recalls someone telling him about a body of girl found in a horse stable in Portola in about 1980
He said in the late 60s and 70s Keddie was a really busy place.
He also said in the late 1960s a counter-fitting ring was busted up at Keddie.
Dose anyone recall how long the family lived at Keddie ?
If I recall a story , housing was needed at Keddie up until a year or two before 1980 because the railroad pulled men out town (railroad towns have a history of drying up when work leaves town ) Then the housing wasn?t needed as much and would have had a lot of new faces in town.
The darkest part of Keddie is the handful of bad people who made their way to Keddie

22 years ago in a very small town in
Northern California there was a murder
that took the lives of 4 family members and a neighbor who was spending the night. Even though these
were all cabins that were very close to each other no-one heard anything, including the 2 small children asleep in a bedroom while 4 of these murders took place in the house.
It was reported that these murders were
very hateful and the crime scene was beyond belief.
1 of the daughters was missing and the other one had spent the night at a friends and when she came home she found this grizzly scene. For a long time the police department thought maybe the other daughter may have been involved but many months later they found her body in the woods too.
It's hard to believe that such vicious murders could have taken place and no-one heard anything when the neighbors cabins are all within about 20 feet of each other.
Not long ago the police department admitted that most of the evidence has been lost due to a leak in the storage room in the police department so now
I think our only hope for the remaining family will be that someone
comes forward with information. Someone
somewhere knows something, please bring closure to the remaining 3 children left behind.
It's been 22 years and the information is not totally fresh in my mind so I may be off on a couple of things but what I am sure of is that half of one family was wiped out, a neighbor spending the night and 3 children were left behind with no closure.
