If it's inside I would paint it white or other neutral color or one matching rest of the interior design. I think just bare brick wall, could add to cold and uninviting atmosphere of the house... I may be wrong on this one, but that's how I felt about this type of decor when looking for a house this year. It felt cold and outdated.

I am a Realtor® in the Phoenix area. My suggestion to you is leave the wall alone for now as long as it's not crumbling or chipping. If you get significant feedback from potential buyers then you may want to change it, but for now some people may like the exposed brick.

If you have any other questions or concerns about the sale of your home feel free to drop me an email at the address below. Of course there will be no cost or obligation to you.

Good luck with the sale of your home.

Hello, I used to live in the area... what color did you paint the exterior brick? I don't believe its a problem... Is the inside drywall or brick? Hope to see a post soon. Good luck!

I have a home built in 1950 in phx az and the most common materials use were the 4 in x 12 in brick for the walls so all of the exterior walls are brick I have painted but I am thinking of selling and not sure what the popular opinion of brick walls might be any ideas would be great.
