I am intrigued by this case and would absolutely love to talk to people about it. I've been searching and searching for someone with as much interest in this case as I, and have had no luck, whatsoever. If you have a myspace...you can friend me at www.myspace.com/steffieinpink. Please mention Marty when you send the friend request so I know why you're requesting me. I found 1 guy on myspace that says he's friends with Derek, but won't talk to me about it until I've finished the book??? Sounds fishy to me, like he probably doesn't know him. Anyway, this is a very serious request, I'd hate to refer people to another site to contact me, but I have so many passwords, I can't keep track of them, I do check my myspace, everyday, so that's the best way to talk to me. I do look forward to hearing from someone and discussing this case, I can't get it out of my mind since I saw the movie. Thanks!

I think Marty just got caught in Lisas lies and now has to live with that fact that she played him to get Bobby out of his life and then at trail say she had nothing to do with it and now free has moved on too a new husband and child shows how much she loves him, And no one will ever know the full story as theres no proof about anything they say about Bobby and theres no proof he didnt do what they say but i think there going to lie to cover up what truely happened that night -- The BitterSweet Revenge Is A Heart That Can Grow And Can Mend

stillpapasmurf, i agree, i read the book and derek seemed ok, i think he was pressured into that night by trying to seem like a cool guy or something, very unfortunate as he didn't really know Bobby, I don't condone murder but from what the book said about bobby and what he did he deserved something very close to murder, the movie didn't even mention throwing things at the old man like the book did, i would like to chat more with you about derek

I thought the book was much better than the film and went into loads more detail about the characters. I can't understand why Marty put up with Bobby for as long as he did! I hear that since he has been in jail that he has become a born again christian.

You know what stillpapasmurf? They did make him look like a jerk in the movie but in the book he didn't appear that way. Not too me anyway. I felt bad for him in the book. He seemed like a guy that just wanted to fit in. I think you have to take the movie with a grain of salt (the book too, really) because Larry Clark put his own spin on it (in my opinion). I actually felt the worst for Derek Kaufman in the book. The movie didn't make me feel bad for any of them. They all seemed so obnoxious. The book was better and I think gave a better background of each of the characters. What do you think?

hey sandy, yea i'm familiar with the "marty puccio case" i was in the trial for it derick kufmen "now knowen as the hitman" was my best friend at the time when every thing happend. i was 16 back then. i don't know if bobby raped anyone or not for shur but i know my friend derick wouldn't have been there if he didn't belive it to be true. in the movie bully they make my friend out to be a real jerk. he wasn't like that he was a good guy who would help you out if you needed help. i know alot of people will say he killed someone so he is no good but thats just not true. i wish i would have told him not to go do any thing that night i knew when he went . the cops tried to charge me because i knew befor it all happend well if you was to talk more or have any thing you want to ask me go a head

I don't condone the murder ether but it would have made more sense if Marty had acted alone but I guess he only got his courage with other people

There was more than bullying going on.There were beatings, rapes, emotional abuse.... I am not condoning murder by any means, just saying there is more to the story than the lies Ally and Lisa had to say on A&E, and what was in the book.

I watched the movie "Bully" which was about the case. I have also seen vairious other shows about it. I think being bullied is no reason for murder
