I am very sorry for your loss. You might want to try a congress person or State representative. Gather as much documnetation as you can muster and take it to them first. Next try senators. That's what they are there for. It will take time but tenacity and a will to find answers will guide you. Don't give up. Make copies of anything you can. Write cover letters. Get the statement from the person who said there is a witness. Get names and addresses and phone numbers. Including the men who were with him. It's a long heard fight but it can be done. You may have to be a pain in the ass but don't stop trying. The dead cannot speak for themselves. Good luck.

Help bring my brothers killer(s) to justice

Hello all, On June 8,2004 my brother died of what was ruled as an accidental drowning. He was 29 years old and a really good swimmer. Myself and the rest of my family never believed the story his 2 friends told. Basically they said Jack (my brother) had gotten way to drunk and decided to go swimming in this stock pond and became tangled in the moss and drowned. The other 2 said they had tried to go in and help him but started to become entangled themselves. This supposedly happened at about 9:15 am. They then said they had to get to the road to flag down help and call 911. 911 call didn't come in until 1 hr 15 min later. Now the inconsistencies are many but the main ones are these. My brother went in with his shoes on fully dressed and his wallet in his back pocket. When the 2 "friends" went to my sisters house about 10:45 they had no mud on there shoes or clothing. They also said my brother had 3-5 beers. which wouldn't have made him drunk as he did not live a model citizen life. Approximately one week ago my older sister received a call at work from a gal who said she had information about our brothers drowning. The story she told was that their was a witness to the actual murder of my brother and he hadn't come forward because he was threatened along with a lot of details that fit almost perfectly. I have contacted our local DA with my sister and the gal with the story and we were basically told that because it was such and old case and drugs were involved no real physical evidence that he was not going to waste his time or resources on my brothers case. I do not know where to go from here I am angry that the DA won't do anything and that the person or persons who MURDERED my brother are getting away with it. If ANYONE can help point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
