Anyone heard about a season 2 coming up for Manhunters? The only thing on now seems to be reruns.

I saw Manhunters for the first time tonight. The show took me back to a TV series from the 60’s and 70s’ called Mission Impossible. (Not the Tom Cruise movies). I’ve been waiting for a real-show like this. I even like the way US Marshalls, Michelle and Roxanne kind of reminds me of Cinnamon (Barbara Bains) from the TV series. Cinnamon was a hard worker in the line of fire in Mission Impossible. I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s, a violent environment (Compton, CA) and was victimized by gangbangers (from both sides of the tracks) on numerous occasions. I was even shot in the head from a drive by. As the eldest of 3 younger brothers, I had no one to defend for me, except God and myself. I guess I’m glad to see the US Marshall making the inner city a better place for the good people (especially good young men) in the violent communities. The show is good, entertaining and real. God is good and God bless America. Peace. -- Edited by Jonthony at 03/25/2009 1:38 AM PDT -- Edited by Jonthony at 03/25/2009 4:30 PM PDT

I love the show. One of the best shows on TV. I watch the show and watch all the reruns again. Is there anybody who says "reality tv" is totally real? But in terms of a show and keeping me involved this show has done it. I am a computer programmer. Believe me "Hackers", "Swordfish", etc....make me gag too. Being on the inside is different no matter what genre you are in. Enjoy the show...It rocks!!!!

I LOVE this show! I have DVR'd every episode. New York cops and law enforcement kick a$$! They don't take any sh*t up there. I am glad that A & E has produced this show so that the public can see that most law enforcement reps are good. My Dad is a retired NYPD Seargent, I know what close camaraderie these folks share between each other, it is awesome. I have seen it my whole life. These guys and gals are not fakers! This is their life! I am so proud of them. To be an American and to see how they are trying to make this country better, it really moves me! From Lenny DePaul on down, every single officer/deputy/investigator that makes up their team(s) should be given a medal of honor. They risk their lives every day to clean up the streets of America. God Bless you all! Pep, Nick, Roxy, Michy...all of you ..keep up the awesome job that you do and be careful! Hugs from Texas!

First of all, we are not shallow! Noticing if someone is good looking as nothing to do with being a shallow person! Second, the officers with the USMS and any other law enforcement agency, are highly trained professionals! As a family member of a police officer, I take offense to your opinion. These men and women put their health and safety on the line every time they go to work just to keep people safe. It is very dangerous and hard work. If it was not for each and everyone of them, none of us would be safe. If you will notice in some of the profiles of the Marshals, the are educated! The people they are chasing are the ones that are violating people's rights. Most of the time in a violent way. These criminals are breaking the law and harming people. You might not say those things if the person they were chasing violently murdered a friend or family member of yours. We all should be thanking them!! They are not the ignorant ones! -- Edited by cjb2277 at 03/01/2009 5:35 PM PST

I am not surprised most of you are going only on the looks of the individuals. Are you really so shallow? Ever thought about reality and the violations of rights the so called officers perpetrate? I am surprised these ignorant, uneducated individuals can find their own parking lot. These government officials prey on the ignorance of citizens, threaten them and violate their rights. Maybe we should start teaching rights in high school. These individuals need to be brought up on charges for violating rights, lying and threatening, at the very least.
