I no longer watch A&E as it has lost its distinctive style. I can watch reality shows and network produced shows elsewhere. I used to love A&E because it always offered an alternative to the other channels. Now, it is just a copycat of those other channels. I would like to see more Hornblower adventures, but I am not holding my breath.

A&E has succumbed to the erroneous belief that we all want reality trash. Give us the REALITY of Horatio Hornblower! We have 240 channels and much of the time, still can't find a quality program to watch. Everyone I know laments the loss of Horatio and wishes that A&E would give us addicts a new fix!
I logged on to find out if/when it might return and it was a lesson in determination just to find anything about the movies on the site-shame on A&E!

I'm afraid that A&E no longer wants to encourage support for the future adventures of our hero Horatio. I'm tired of D-list celebrities, "reality" drivel, and pseudo-paranormal fakers diverting the resources of what was once a quality cable channel.
It's a real shame. They have barely used half of the Hornblower stories, with many of the best ones still to come. Let's hope some day that A&E comes to its senses!
