Isn't the need for "faith based" initiatives yet another oxymoron ? If prayer & faith worked as claimed, what need government intervention. Of course, no need of mentioning the separation of church & state.

As Lucifer Sam would say, "It's only possible for a catbox to get so dirty." Wise cat, he.

Bet they have highly predictable results.

predictable AND unverifiable - this type of "research" is particularly useful for....say....a psychic. you can legally charge lots of money for doing absolutely nothing!

Yup. That's pretty funny. Bet they have highly predictable results.

Speaking of Faith Based, a wise man once said:

"Most Isms are now Wasms"

Go tell Alice, or better yet, go ask Ozymandias.

#1. It's impossible to read your site. Try using a white background with black lettering.

#2. I'm interested in nothing "faith based".

#3. Paranormal State is a for profit TV show that shows no evidence of anything paranormal. I'll stop there.

A Defense of the Show

I read the wikipedia page for this show which mentioned a controversy about one of the episodes. What angered me is that when I went to read the article, you could tell it was obviously written by someone who had an agenda of self promotion. I was shocked that this is posted as a "controversy" on wiki. I know that wiki is edited by anyone, but still.

So I went to the actual article that wiki uses as a source. I posted a lengthy rebuttal on my site, but I will not post it here for fear of the infamous TL:DR remarks you get on message boards. However, if you would like to read it you can at
http://www.faithbasedparanormalresearch.com/apps/blog/

In essence it states that anyone with any intelligence would not make a judgment based on that article. The only reason to repost it would be if you have a personal agenda to discredit the show at all costs.
