omg! and ::phew:: that i'm NOT insane! tuxedo is THE cutest! that's too cool, they got an awesome pup and i know he's in a great home now.
CONGRATULATIONS ALLISON! i'm so happy to hear it's one year, so awesome. your family really took a gamble on getting allison help. there is never a guarantee with an intervention, unfortunately sometimes it can backfire right in your face. i'm so grateful to hear that allison is still working on life, it's such a crazy journey sometimes! everyone in your family must be incredibly happy and proud of her.
i hope her visit goes well for her, it can be incredibly emotional and vulnerable going back home. i know my old stomping grounds are always a trigger for me. i look forward to hearing how the visit goes, and let allison know that people are still here, praying and rooting for her!

How are you? Hope everything is all good? I can't believe it's a year already of Allison being sober! I'm very happy for her. That's awesome she's going to visit you guys next week! Your family must be excited!

Ok, you're officially going insane...just kidding! YES!!! That was them!! Isn't Tuxedo so cute?
How's things? Everything is good here. Allison is coming home for a visit next week!! We have seen her in Cali, but it is her first visit home! I can't wait! Can u believe it has been a whole year? May 6th is the 1 year mark. Wow huh? I am so psyched for Al, she has stayed sober for a year and is working it everyday!

sue: i was watching a show called "dogtown" about a no-kill animal shelter out in utah, and i could swear that your sister erika was on the show!! her boyfriend's name was dan, and they adopted a blind puppy named tuxedo. please tell me it really was her and not someone else, otherwise i'm either going insane or i have too much time on my hands, LOL!
would love to hear an update on allison also!

Wow...This community is alive!
I like everyone was shocked by how addicted to duster Allison was. Someone so pretty and smart just turned the wrong corner somewhere. I'm so glad she had people like Sue and others to save her.
So glad she's doing well. I liked her better with the dark hair. Did she dye it to start a fresh life?
I too have done duster a few times. It's a great high, but the hangovers were so terrible. Allison's addiction must have been severe as she probably didn't care if she had a hangover or not.

I saw the show...are you kidding me? That was awesome that you showed up to see Allison! I was surprised alright! That's crazy! You guys must talk for hours after the show. Allison looked amazing on the show. Sue you look great yourself! Okay gotta go Sue at work right now. Have a good one!

Sue thats awsome..i am so glad i checked the board today to learn that she was on that show tonight.. i would have hated to miss it. i got it DVR'ed. i have not talked to Al in a long time. she most not text or email anymore?
so how long has Al been sober?
when did her show air?

Just got back from seeing Allison in California. She looks FANTASTIC! Check her out on March 9th on the show The Doctors on CBS. She is on with other people sharing their struggles with addiction. You might see a surprise, so watch!

Man oh man, was I ever glad to see Allison doing well! I wish her the best. I admire her bravery and honesty about the intervention, et al. Being sober isn't easy. As I heard an alcoholic once say, "sobriety is not contingent upon the absence of suffering." Great to see her lovely face again!

i fine thanks.. i am doing better but not over the bumb just yet.. i still feel depressed and down all day long so that makes it alot harder on me getting over the bumb
