Thank You Thank You - for highlighting the greatest band in history. This is a segment that needs to be repeated - with the music and insight of the interview. Great job with a great band! Sal

Thank You A&E for covering the greatest rock and roll band of all time. Thank You for reminding all of those who have forgotten. Thank You for entertaining those of us who have remembered. And Thank You for initiating the uninitiated. Thank You for giving hope that GREAT music is still alive and still important.

I too would have liked to actually hear them perform something from SOS as the whole album is incredible. However, I was really happy at how they promoted it during the interview and that A&E had promo commercials about it. I didn't even expect THAT much.

They band rates as one of the most outstanding groups ever as far as I am concerned. The only disappointing thing (besides missing Walt) was not getting to hear a cut from SOS. I think that this Sisyphus will set Chicago fans on their ears. From what I've heard it is their best album ever. Can't wait (I've already pre-ordered my copies!

Considering the show was only an hour long, I'm not surprised they didn't talk about Terry or Peter...they kept it upbeat and positive and it was awesome to watch. Lynn did a pretty good job with the interview...EXCEPT she didn't ONCE mention Jason, Bill, Tris or Ray Herman who was subbing for Walt. That to me was really rude. They guys looked and sounded great and I was really happy to see the two commercial promos of SOS. Very cool.

I just watched the latest episode of Private Sessions featuring Chicago. These guys are on my short list of all-time favorite bands! The feature was great, but 2 very notable topics were left completely out of the discussion - The loss of Terry Kath in '78 and the departure of Peter Cetera in 1985. I can understand the need and desire to avoid dwelling on the negatives of the past, but I would have thought these 2 events (at least) merited a brief mention in the Chicago storyline. The departure of Cetera, to my thinking, was certainly part of the band's evolution, and deserving of mention. 'Private Sessions' bills itself as a candid look into the lives and careers of the artists, after all. Instead, they emphasized the relative facelessness of Chicago, and how no individual member coming or going is going to really impact them. Luckily, this has mostly been true! Anyhow, Chicago is an incredible group. Perhaps their impetus to stay positive and NOT look back on any negatives from the past is part of the reason for 40+ years of success.
