I hate to say quit, but if you have Trickster, that discussion will start shortly and we'd like to have you there. Personally, I don't think Fudge is work the effort, but others should comment as well.

Well, I'm relieved.....I could not figure out who the heck Mike and Shawna Lee and Hannah were! (I have Fudge Cupcake, but haven't started it yet, so I don't know who's who.) Whaddya think, pghfan - should I quit while I'm ahead? I agree with Clewie...you definitely provided the laugh of the day!

But since we are... I am thinking of giving up on this thing. It is SOOOO boring. If there aren't ten pages so far on that darn cat food, I will be surprised. If there is a good mystery in this, it is so well covered up that I can't find it.

Does Mike seem really clueless to anyone besides me? Seems as though a guy who'd been married for a while would realize that going to Shawna Lee's apartment would be likely to put him in the doghouse with Hannah. The 'final confrontation' seemed contrived to me, with just too many coincidences (and Hannah FINALLY having that 'aha' moment). I did get a laugh when Hannah thought that giving droppers of medicine to Moishe shouldn't be too difficult! And the home-baked liver cat food--mmmm!!

Hannah's got cat scratch fever and a new character is introduced...so late in the story. Jon Walker. Or was he introduced earlier and I just forgot about him?

Chick, I'm curious. What was the shower incident, and how did it affect "Norman's" name?? Ha.

And Mike and Shawna Lee seem like they were doing more than talking shop at that Italian restaurant.

Righto, Chick. All of our cats and dogs except one have been homeless strays, and that's the first thing we've done when taking them in -- neuter or spay, whatever the case may be. My tomcat, Tom (original, I know) lived on an uninhabited farmstead for his first year and a half before I rescued him from the alley in a deadly freezing winter. We had that essential surgery done right away, and he hasn't missed a thing, nor does he have any inclination to go outside again. Given the necessities, cats are quite content to stay in the house and watch the world go by through a conveniently placed window.

If people would just have the animals neutered we wouldn't have this problem. Thanks for the best wishes. I'll let you know how it goes.
