OMG, most alleged possessed ppl have had psychological treatment prior to the actual possession.

cool, i defer to your larger knowledge.
could you name a few from recent years?

If not, exorcism protocol goes as followed:

before determining if an exorcism is needed. The alleged possessed individual must under go a physical and mental evaluation to rule out any "normal causes" of their illness.

nothing psychological WAS ruled out for this young woman before ryan and crew decided to have at her on national television. that's the point.

did you even hear what the psychologist said on camera?

it started to say something about holy water and that she had a bad reaction a few weeks later. Can someone please tell me the ending. Thank you.

it's what's known as a "cliffhanger".

there will undoubtedly be a book or a movie or at the very least a PRS retreat in the near future.

(it says on ry-ry's blog they're going to have a retreat at gilliland ranch next spring. gosh, i just didn't see that one coming.)

Yup.

That was pretty much the ending.

Going for an evaluation, and being in treatment for a YEAR are not the same. You are right there, Sunny. They are not even close. -- PhotobucketBelial approves this post.....All Hail The Queen!

As I said in the thread that got deleted, this girl is a Hypersensitive Empath, not possessed, and it seems as though her child archetype is predominant. I used to post here many moons ago, and just re-registered and an entire thread with lots of posts vanished. This show is an embarrasment to those of us in the paranormal field who are serious, have integrity and are actually psychic. This episode was like bad amateur acting by those obsessed with THE EXORCIST and fear based religious dogma. I assume this post will be deleted as well.

Are demons inherently 'all knowing' or do they have to go to hell school? I mean, are there smart demons and dumb demons? Funny demons and stoic demons?

well, we need to learn, cause according to some PRSee, demons have been unleashed on all of us show goofers!

remember? mine was the Demon of Snark! yours was some nymph-y looking thing with the face of babawa. i don't think anyone else fessed up. well they couldn't, cuz the Name Your Demon thread kept getting deleted.

((for a show which features demons and demonology so very often, and which introduced belial to the masses, they aren't very fond of discussing the underworld.))

Hey! I just found an ode to Belial! It's a song called 'Goatlord Of Unholy Sodomy'. Sounds really groovy.... It's at Goat Vomit. I ain't makin' this stuff up!--->http://heaveninflames.blogspot.com/2008/04/goatvomit-chapel-of-winds-of-belial.html
hmmmm... I just DL'd Belial's whole album. Might be good for Halloween...

OMG TFF!!!!

>>given that at least half the "clients" they've featured on this show probably should have psyche care, i would imagine AE is all kinds of waivered up. <<

People *really* need to understand that just because you sign a waiver doesn't mean that it's OK for the other contracting party to harm you in any way shape or form. Dr. Kevorkian ring a bell?

Think it's a good idea for them to be doing this with people who are under mental care??? Could you smell a lawsuit? Or do they sign waivers not holding them responsible? Anybody know?

given that at least half the "clients" they've featured on this show probably should have psyche care, i would imagine AE is all kinds of waivered up.

ryan must keep a big ole stack of release forms right next to the blessed medals and the holy water.

See, I don't care who lived there before....I don't think a demon would make it so easy for anyone to know what they wrote. And why in the closet in the floor? Wouldn't they sprawl it all over a wall or something? But then again....not sure if a demon would do that in the first place.

Dang..I was going to say Latin!! Guess I should go with what I first think of. But I didn't think of the backwards...but I think you are right on that.

Demons in Ed and LoRay's cases wrote on people all the time (and on walls, mirrors, ect) - but they wrote backwards. Someone's BSing.

I would tend to think they'd favor Latin, but since Emily Rose was German...go figure.
