I forgot all of the other posts have been so important huh.

Umm lets see....this is a major network and Cincinnati is a big city so they should get it right.

I don't think it's so much "mistakes" by the writers, editors, production crew but rather hurried editing, cutting, and pasting for time constraints on these shows. The "patches" do make it pretty obvious, but you can watch ANY SHOW on television and find tons of the proverbial "bloopers"--even multimillion-dollar movies, too. I don't doubt the AETV production crew see these items and are aware of them. I honestly don't pay much attention to whether a detective was wearing a certain shirt one minute and looked totally different in a scene seconds later. I just make the presumption that for time-constrained purposes, the AETV crew had to go to the cutting-room floor. It may seem awkward while viewing it, but oh well...we already know (as some of the detectives have explained to us all) that they sometimes change clothes at the stations, etc., because of very long hours in trying to solve the cases.

I get the impression that the people who edit the A&E shows are not exactly the sharpest tacks in the drawer. Pay attention to any "reality" show on the network (and I totally admit to watching more than my fair share of them) and you will notice lots of mistakes. On The First 48 alone, you will notice that the detectives go from wearing tan shirts to white shirts to yellow shirts and back to the same tan, all in the spanse of an alleged 1 minute of exasperation during "the first 48."

Don't get me wrong- I LOVE the shows- but do you seriously think we don't notice those things? Det. Mason went from hair up at the station to hair down (and a different outfit) in the car to the previous outfit while making an arrest? Det. Martinez went from crisp white shirt and AWESOME tie to tired in a yellow shirt and rolling his eyes back to the white shirt in the spanse of a radio call about a new 332? Whatever.

A&E misses A LOT of details- but I'll keep watching anyway. :)

You see it all the time on the news and newspaper. You would think they would catch, but I guess we all make mistakes. This show is awesome anyways. I never miss an episode.

That's a dumb mistake. Is the mistake on this website or on the actual show? If on the show, which episode was it?

True enough, you'd think the producers or script writers would catch that, but here again, look at newspapers all over the country & news broadcasts on national television--errors are made every day.
