Oh.. there's places to put the pedophiles,molestors
and rapist.The men and women. Uncharted deserted islands.That way if they get the urge, they can do it to one another.I really don't think these people can be helped at all either.Anyways all these islands out in the oceans that doesn't have anyone on them.Alot of them only the gov.knows where their locations r. And that's the ones they need to use. So that way they can't stop any passing fishing boats.The government could have them to build their own housing on them. As far as having other things to make them comfortable they don't deserve it. Like running water and an inside bathroom.Make them have to live like people had to before running water and electricity. They could use ocean water that has been boiled and the salt removed or wells to bathe in and outside toilets.Wood for heat and cooking and candles or oil lamps for light. As much money the gov. wastes.They could have food flown and drop in to them every so many months. If they eat it all before the next drop,well they have to go looking for something around the island to carry them through themselves or do without.
But like anything else that would help their own people. They would say they don't have the money to do that. Y because they keep giving it to all these other countries to help them and to help them rebuild after we blew them up from wars.But when it comes to us they don't have it.Because there's nothing in it for them to put in their pockets.They wouldn't look at it as saving them monies from not having to house them in prisons again and or maybe saving the money from having to put them to death.

pretender1, are pedophiles also homosexuals? I've never really been able to figure that one out, or is just not as clearcut as that? And would a homosexual who likes children also be the type to keep his or her sexuality in the closet and only seek gratification that way under the guise of being heterosexual?

I agree Mama... Do you know that it costs more money to execute someone, than to lock them up for life? Yep, because of all of the appeals, etc.... What's wrong with this picture?
Also, have you ever wondered why they have to use a sterile needle to give a lethal injection? LOL

I wish that could be done. I had a notification with the police dept., door to door that a pedophile was in our area. I didn't worry because my son was out of that age. They give you a flyer and tell you where he lives. I didn't worry, but now that I have a grandson when he gets older I will have to worry, because I looked at the national map where they all are and they are everywhere and you can't keep your eye on them even if you know who they are and where they are. Get them off the streets and stop with the notifications. Put them on a reservation where they can't hurt anyone again. I don't know if a petition to our representatives would enact a law. It takes many people to get the message through. I feel so sorry for the people who have someone like this evade their lives.

I agree that that would help to protect our children. Too bad nobody with enough clout would take on this project. I guess it is too easy a solution and the government likes to complicate things.

I don't think it would be inhumane to build a colony. If it is a mental illness, it is like when they put people who are in instutions for their illness. Why, when they know they can't be rehabilitated, put back into society again, because most of them become repeat offenders and we as a society know that.

I agree with you. That is a good idea. It is unfortunate that too many people would disagree and in the meantime we do all we can to protect our kids. I took my kids to the carnival last night. It was $10.00 night. My husband and I watched when they buckled our daughter in. Even if we had to move to get different angles to see. It is so scary to be a parent today.

I agree with you Momsmall, they should never be let out again. Maybe build a colony somewhere where they can live alone with each other with their illness, Keep our children safe from them.

I believe any one who preys on children should be executed or remain locked up in prison or a mental institution for life. They prey on those who are unable to fend for themselves.

The theory is that pedophiles cannot be rehabilitated. I guess it is some kind of mental illness. All the rehab does not cure them and they become repeat offenders.

Hey Daffy, you have not been to Texas lately. LOL I am glad that they finally got OJ on something. I really thought he would get out of this one. Guessed Wrong. I always felt they should have gone after him for tax evasion.

Out here 3 years ago a man was released from prison for molesting a child. They had a big controversy to where they were going to put him, so they put him in a trailer right outside Donovan State prison. Well he violated his parole when he went to see his PO. Here we are 3 years later and they can not figure out where to put him because he has this thing for kids. My question is why are they even risking releasing this man if they know he still has problems and how can he only do 3 years for harming a child. If you rob a store you get 10 to 15 years, if you harm a child you get 3...

Pretender.....You're right about the last name of Peterson. We have Drew Peterson, Scott Peterson and there was another high profile case of a guy that murdered his wife and his last name was Peterson. (can't remember his first name).
