In my hometown, there's no street parking overnight (as a guest, you can call your car in to the police if you've been boozing at someone's house). Half of the time, the police ticket you anyway, and then you've got to go to the station in the morning and run between the police desk and the parking desk to confirm that you did, in fact, call the police the night before. Why? Because the police aren't doing THEIR JOB to notify the night parking maids, approximately 50% of the time.
During the day, an angry-looking woman (regularly replaced at retirement with another equally angry-looking woman) walks around chalking every car for ticketing. When I'm visiting my parents, I have to run downstairs every two hours (on a totally empty street), and move my car four feet forward.
Is there an actual problem with parking in the street at night? No. Is the town too crowded for cars to sit there at night, or even during the day? No. Is this a street where there are meters? No. Does it often happen that one gets ticketed even if one isn't there for two full hours? Yes. Is it inconvenient for a person to run to the police on a weekday morning after they've already done their job of calling the police the night before, when one has - oh, i don't know - a job?
Does the town have an arbitrary parking system to acquire more money, although they have one of the highest taxing systems in the nation? Hmmmm.

I actually set down and watched this show the other day and ya know it was'nt the worst thing A&E offers, I actually kind of liked most of it...Looking foward to The New Show on Rookies!!

yeah this show was a absolute joke.
who would want to watch someone get a parking ticket?
nobody wants to see someone go thru that, simply because they dont like going thru that.
A&E really disappointed me with putting this show on air.
i could see E channel doing this, but not A&E.

I really like parking wars. I always laughed when peple were arguing about getting a ticket. They deserved it. hahaha

Just because parking cops exist doesn't mean we have to watch them on t.v. Just because this makes them more human?? doesn't mean we like them regaurdless. I HATE THIS SHOW. It makes me about as mad as whenever I've got parking tickets

I agree that the show is boring, I mean I cant imagine the show being that much of a success, I hope that the network really reconsiders bringing back Dog and I never really watched swat I seen a couple times but it kept my interest for more than 10 mintues. Luckily they have shows like intervention and paranormal state but this show has got to go!!!

This program is a pretty useless piece of drivel. I watched once to see if it would come close to being a replacement for DTBH or Dallas Swat, it does not even hold a candle to either of them. I guess I stop watching A&E again. How sad that this is the best they can come up with.
