Obviously T.V. shows are not exactly true to life...they are meant to be entertainment...just as CSI or Law and Order, etc. are. People watch them for the characters and story lines and to be entertained, obviously real life is not that exciting and they cant go into every single technical detail about the process of forensic science. This show is more about the characters and development of their relationships with one another through their various cases. I dont think it is necessary to nit pick every incorrect detail in fictional shows-becuase after all that is what they are... fiction.... and for the purpose of entertainment.

WOW, I don't believe the responses here. Do you actually think that true criminal forensics are carried out the same way as in this silly show? Do you think employees jump around all over the city and get involved with police matters? Police don't allow that. MEs don't have mental telepathy meetings with people in order to figure something out. A medical examiner isn't sent out to a crime scene. The body is taken to the crypt for examination. People who aren't part of the medical staff aren't allowed into the crypts because of possible contamination. Police don't leave a body around waiting for MEs to show up. Please people, grow up. Return to the real world. Forensics is an exact science and this silly show is way off the mark. This show is nothing more than combined fantasy and is made for computer soap opera fans.

yeah i totally agree with all of you. forensics in general is amazing, and put it together with great actors it makes an awesome show. i think thats why most people like crossing jordan too- becuase of the realistic characters. theyre not completely made up but instead have flaws and have a backround and have things that they do outside of just working at the morgue. crossing jordan is also pretty up to date with all the new forensic gear and theres always someone on set to make sure that everythings done the right way. :)

Just watched the Crossing Jordan marathon. I enjoyed watching the episodes that I missed and the reruns also. Forensics Science amazes me. It is awesome how crimes can be solved with forensics. I enjoy all of the characters. I like the compassion, sincerity and the reality that the characters portray.

Where I live I watch CJ through Universal Channel. I love CJ because I've got fond of forensics and of course
there're several others. Has anybody seen CSI (Vegas)? It's very good too.

One of the best shows on TV. Shows how forensics SHOULD be done. Too bad there is so much corruption in ALL the legal systems!!!
