The FBI were in on the case from the beginning. However, there were many discrepancies and questions in the version of what happened by Carl Probyn, the stepfather. If any of the posters know anything about this case in hard facts, I would like to talk to them. PI

Hi. I live in the town where Jaycee was kidnapped. Jaycee was friends with my daughter and I know Jaycees mother quite well. I do not believe that her mother was involved in her disappearance. Who is the private detective that has info?

I have printed and will forward your comments to the PI. That area is SO "small town"...if you know what I mean! Like WHY the "right" things weren't done in the beginning. There seems to be a nasty "web" there. The FBI was/is involved, but I later was disillusioned by the people in the local office on another matter.

I am aware of this case in many forms and also know the fbi has not closed this case and would like to know this PI and have this PI be intouch with me and would be more then happy to document and have this PI talk on videotape It may be very good

Listen you should contact me. I am doing work on this and would like to talk to the PI who you say has a l,lot of info. I should also say the fbi has not closed this case. I am very serious about getting this PI to get in touch with me.

Could that possibly be a federal case, since it involves out of the country? Isn't it illegal transport of a minor, or something? If I were the PI, I'd contact the FBI and keep making noise about it.

They both had so many friends in the Eldorado County Sheriffs Department that the case never went anywhere. A private detective in that area has a lot of information on the case, but no one will listen to him.
